We are financial planners who believe that life comes first. Based in Edinburgh, we help people become free of money worries so that they can define their purpose, follow their dreams and be confident in making financial decisions.
Our Story
We haven’t always been quite so financially savvy. One half of our founding duo, Shadi Kirk, made an error early on in her career that was pivotal to its trajectory – namely, listening to friends in the pub! An ill-advised financial decision caused her to eventually pursue a career in financial planning, in the hope of helping others avoid such mistakes.
For our other founder, Angus Kirk, his early career looked a lot different. Before qualifying as a financial adviser, he made a living as a sheep shearer! Angus feels he learned a lot from this – his work ethic, consistency… and how to manage early morning starts!

2010
Angus and Shadi set up Bridge Investments, having both previously worked at an American stockbroking firm. Tucked away in a spare bedroom but with plans for growth.
2017
After several years spent working from a number of different locations we relocate to our own office & shop window in Stockbridge.
2022
The team expands and after undergoing a rebrand, Bridge becomes Transform Financial Planning – new name, same great service.
2013
Jenn joins us as a Business Office Administrator. Now our Operations Director, she has been integral to our growth and development.
2019
Shadi and Angus do some life planning themselves and decide to purchase Mathiesons Butchers in Edinburgh – an exciting venture that’s been perfect for their combined skills!

We’re always committed to evolving and developing our service, so we can continue to meet our clients’ needs. Who knows what might come next!
