My name is John Scott and I have been working with Transform now for around about 15 years. And I have been working with Shadi mainly and sometimes her husband, Angus.

I knew nothing about finance or investments. Some years ago, I was made redundant, and I ended up with a redundancy package. I hadn’t a clue what I was going to do with that. So, I thought, well, I better take some financial advice.

The previous company that I had invested in, Shadi was working for. She was about the fifth financial adviser that I’d been assigned by that company. When she left the company, she persuaded me that I should go with her and start at the new company, which I’m glad I did, because it was a much better arrangement than working with this large financial company.

Shadi was a very personable person, she was very on the ball, very professional, and very approachable. This was something that I felt was worthwhile. It was more than what I had from the previous company. It’s proved to be a decent arrangement because we’ve worked with Shadi for about 15 years and it’s been very satisfactory as far as I’m concerned.

Both my wife and I have come into a number of inheritances over the years, and we’ve needed somebody to actually help us with that. So, she’s been able to guide us on how we should invest it. How we should invest it in the long term, and short term, and she’s been able to guide us along. To be honest, we’ve put all our faith in her, in looking after our finances because we are fairly clueless when it comes to financial business.

I feel confident that somebody is looking after my finances. Both my wife and I are happy with the way that things are going and we feel that our finances are safe with Shadi.

The three words that I would use to describe working with Shadi are professional, approachable, and friendly.

I think that our financial future is secure. It’s something we’ve never had to think about, particularly in the past. But as we’re getting older, we’ve got family and we’ve secured a financial future, both for ourselves and for them with Shadi’s advice, and I’m perfectly happy that things are in a good state.

The best piece of advice that I’ve had, particularly in recent times when things are a bit unstable, is that we should stay investing and not change things. Just to stick with it and work our way through it.

I would recommend Transform to anybody. I think that they are professional, they’re friendly, they’re a good company to work for, and they care for individuals. They provide a very satisfactory package, I think, it’s certainly working for me, and therefore I have no reason I wouldn’t recommend them to anybody else.
